Most Golden Chain Accommodation offers the flexibility of having cooking facilities in your room as well as providing, WiFi, continental breakfast service, laundry facilities and free parking. You can find the list of all property facilities under the 'Facilities' tab on the property page.

The rooms range from studio units for corporate travellers or couples travelling on leisure, one to three bedroom units - perfect if you are travelling with family & friends.

With all your accommodation needs taken care of, you can relax, unwind and enjoy your holiday in New Zealand to the fullest.

You will find your perfect place to stay in any of our 3 categories:

  • Standard: equivalent or similar to 3 - 3 1/2 star Qualmark rating
  • Superior: equivalent or similar to 4 - 4 1/2 star Qualmark rating
  • Premium: equivalent or similar to 4 - 5 star Qualmark rating

Most Golden Chain Accommodation providers have continental or cooked breakfast available. If you'd like to add breakfast to your booking, please leave a note in the special requests box when you make your booking, or ask the property upon arrival and they will be happy to assist. Additional charges may apply which are payable directly at the property.


Cancellations can be made direct with the motel or via our toll free Central Reservations Office – in either case they must reach the motel prior to 4pm, 24 hours before the date of stay. Failure to cancel your reservation by 4pm, 24 hours prior to your intended date of stay will result in cancellation charges.

Please check your booking confirmation for the properties individual cancellation policy, which may differ to the generic rule as stated on this page.

Check in time

You may check in anytime after 2pm. If you are expecting to check in after 7pm please contact the property to advise of your estimated time of arrival. You will find the contact details on your booking confirmation.

Check out time

Please check out by 10am. If you require a late check-out, please contact the property directly to make arrangements. Please note that additional charges may apply.

Child Policy

The pricing structure for children is determined by the property. As a general rule, if a bed is required for children, then the property will charge for the extra requirement and you will have to pay any additional costs to the property directly.
