Tucked away on a ridge up in the Queensberry Hills of Central Otago, New Zealand, Matagouri Lodge Boutique Bed & Breakfasts treats guests to sensational panoramic views, gourmet meals, and magical night skies. Your host, Sarah-Jane Bashford, built the lodge in 2023 as a peaceful retreat making the most of the incredible views. Slightly off the beaten track, but close enough to local attractions, Sarah-Jane encourages guests to unplug, unwind and take their time to explore the stunning region. A self-confessed foodie, Sarah-Jane is passionate about bringing people together over good food and wine. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and she suggests guests dine in at least one evening during their visit. Meals are prepared using her own and locally grown seasonal fruit and vegetables, local artisan produce, and of course Central Otago wine. Meals need to be booked at least 48 in advance and can be paid for by credit card or debit card at check out using credit card.
